What is an official translation?
An official translation is a translation signed
and stamped by an Official Interpreter appointed by the Ministry
for Foreign Affairs. The official interpreter's signature
is placed on the files of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs
so that the Legalisations Dept. may verify and legalise it.
In an official translation, the translator certifies that
the translation is true to the original document. Some official
organisations, notary offices, etc. insist that the translation
is official so that it is valid as a legal document.
